Strawberry & Peach
Sweet strawberry, ripe peach, a honeyed finish. A fruit forward natural from Yirgacheffe, the Ethiopian region that more or less wrote the playbook for bright, berry soaked coffees.
The story: Yirgacheffe is the birthplace of the flavors most people think of when they hear "Ethiopian natural," jammy red fruit, florals, and a tea like lift that feels almost nothing like the chocolate and nut profiles you get from most of the coffee growing world. This lot leans into that heritage with a medium body and a fruit basket of a cup: strawberry up front, peach through the middle, honey tying it together. The varieties are a mix of Ethiopian heirloom, the wild, genetically diverse landrace plants that have grown in these hills for centuries, alongside 74-110 and 74-112, two selections developed by Ethiopia's Jimma Research Center for disease resistance without sacrificing the cup quality the region is famous for.
