Snapple Peach & Lemon
Snapple peach tea in a cup, wrapped in soft florals. The kind of coffee that disappears before you mean it to.
The story: This lot comes from smallholders delivering cherry to the Gotae Sodu washing station in Wamena village, high in the Guji zone of Oromia. The station is owned by Abebe Mulugeta Kassa Genete and his son Sisay. Farmers pick in the morning from semi-forested plots planted with native trees, then bring cherry down in the afternoon for depulping and a 24 to 60 hour ferment. After a short soak, the coffee dries on raised beds, raked often so it comes down evenly.
